Unboxing the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition smartphone, testing out the camera tech and gaming smarts while running through the specs and features. Clunky name aside, the Realme GT Explorer offers hardware to rival the Poco F3, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G etc, for hopefully another budget-friendly price.
This hands-on review shows how the specification of this model compares to the original GT, with some elements stripped back for a cheaper cost. The Snapdragon 870 chipset matches that Poco F3, so gaming on PubG, CODM and even Genshin Impact is beautifully smooth.
The GT Master Explorer Edition also serves up different camera tech, although photo quality is still good enough for everyday pics. That Realme UI launcher also delivers a wide range of bonus features on top of Android. Oh, and we did have to download Google Play, but that's only because this was the Asian review model.
So are you tempted by the Realme GT Master Explorer smartphone? Check out my coverage of the OnePlus Nord 2, Mi 11 Lite 5G and other mid-range rivals here on Tech Spurt, and I've also done a hands-on review with the original GT and that Master Edition.
