Reviewing the Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless Earbuds, an upgraded version of the original 2021 TWS's with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) now added! I've been testing these earphones for a few days and I'm definitely a fan, even if the design isn't the best and the audio can get a little muddy for rock and metal music.
The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless Earbuds cost £130 in the UK (release date September 29), and offer good value considering the audio quality and features. Noise cancellation is pretty standard at this price, and these wireless buds don't disappoint. You can clearly hear podcasts and audiobooks even in packed high streets and playgrounds, with a Transparency mode if you need it.
The CX Plus from Sennheiser come with complete customisation via the Smart Control app. This allows you to play with an equaliser and tweak the touch controls, just to name a couple of the features. Battery life is also among the best for True Wireless Earbuds, serving up six to seven hours of playback on a single charge with ANC active.
