Unboxing the Motorola Moto G60s, a fresh budget smartphone costing £219 UK, boasting 50W Turbo Power battery charging and a 120Hz display (although no 5G support). This hands-on review covers the Moto G60s camera tech, gaming performance, specs and software. Check out my coverage of the best budget phones under £300 for the biggest Motorola rivals and alternatives at this price!
The screen is once again an IPS with FHD resolution, but the 120Hz refresh support for Android apps makes for a buttery smooth experience. Battery life is as solid as ever and performance is respectable, courtesy of the Helio G95. It's getting on a bit but games like PubG and CoDM play fine on the Motorola G60s, with no overheating. But yeah, no 5G.
A 64MP primary camera proves fine for everyday snaps, as long as you avoid strong and dim light. You also get stock Android, with the usual Motorola bonus bits stuck on there. So is the Moto G60s one of the best budget smartphones of 2021? Check out my reviews of rivals from Nokia, Xiaomi, Poco and others for more ideas!
