POSSUM RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGES AFTER HOLDING WOMAN HOSTAGE

Police in Dunedin, New Zealand, responded to a call late Sunday evening from a distressed woman who said she was being held hostage by a possum. "At about 11pm on Sunday night, the occupant of a Blacks Road, North East Valley, address phoned Police in distress, stating a possum was holding her hostage," Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen told Motherboard.
